Founded in 1908 by a pioneer physician committed to the value of education, Wayland continues to pioneer new standards in higher learning, serving as a leader among the nation’s Christian colleges and universities.  Wayland offers more than 65 programs of study, grounded in the liberal arts and led by expert, mentoring faculty.  Wayland's main campus in Plainview serves more than 1,400 students. We serve an additional 3,600 students on 13 other campuses located across the Southwest and in Hawaii, and Alaska.
