What's the difference between Early Decision and Early Action?
Early decision is when you apply to your first-choice schools earlier than the regular admission date. Early decision is binding which means if you are accepted through early decision, you are committed to attending that school. You may not apply to more than one college under early decision.
Early action is when you apply early to schools and receive a decision well in advance of the regular response date. With early action you are not bound to attend if you are accepted. You may also apply early action to multiple colleges who offer the early admission process.
